What are Meritts

A Meritt is a unit of credit that is generated as a result of human virtues being practically applied to meet the needs of a community. See examples

As trust is established, participants become credit worthy and thus eligible for more credit.

The wellbeing and prosperity of a community increases as a virtuous cycle of acts expressive of  human virtues are applied to fulfill real needs.  Such acts encourage reciprocity and increase the capacity and tendency of individuals to develop and apply their own virtuous capacities.

The value and wellbeing that a community is able to generate is limited only by their ability to cultivate and practically apply human virtues.
